This piece of artwork was part of a fishing theme focusing on Arbroath. Each tin had a painted image and was individually framed within a box lined with nautical maps. The nine boxes were combined into one piece of artwork.

This piece of artwork relates to the fisher folk from Arbroath and their "By Names". (nicknames) their names are woven into the net and a piece of diftwood has a painting of an old fishing vessel. It reflects a piece of local history.

Man -v- Nature. This is a recycled wine box used to show the power of nature and how it reclaims the landscape back once we have used it up. The inside of the box contains steel wire hanging like a noose to remind us not to hang ourselves by destroying the planet.

May Queen Paper Sculpture
The May Queen is the main character from the Beltane Fire Festival and signifies the rebirth of the seasons.
I really enjoyed making this piece with her beautiful long eyelashes and fabulous headdress of spring flowers.
The most difficult piece to make was her lips with all the different folds involved.
Being all white it was also a challenge to keep clean.
